11:45 - what’s happening in MO?? In the last hour, the lead has flipped over to McCain and on the news that a lot of the outstanding vote is from St. Louis, I think McCain has it from here out. McCain is crushing Huckabee in the St. Louis area. Those dratted independents again.
Here’s the link.

10:40 - The one we’ve been waiting for, Georgia has been called for Huckabee. ABM baby, ABM
Huckabee still leading in MO and TN.

10:10 - Best thing about Mike Huckabee: he’s not John McCain.
_____________________
10:08 - Somebody needs to man the Hugh Hewitt suicide watch.
Huckabee is up with the David and Goliath imagery.

10:00 - Romney wins Utah! Wow! His 2nd state for his big night.
______________________
9:44 - So on the leader board we have states won:
Obama: 4
Clinton: 6
McCain: 5
Huckabee: 3
Romney: 1
So far it looks like a quagmire for the blogosphere and Talk Radio

9:41 - I just noticed they called Georgia for Obama. McCain takes NY to sweep the NE.
______________________
9:35 - I am awarding the Politico the winner of “slickest result site”.
______________________
9:10 - Huckabee wins AL and AR, still leading in Georgia, and leading in MO too. It’s not too early to say that Huckabee has just become a serious power broker, if not more, in the GOP. Certain elements of the same may commence gnashing of teeth.

9:00 - In another way of looking at it, Romney is coming in third in Georgia and Missouri, which can’t have been the original plan.
Coming in third in TN too.
_____________________
8:45 - Direct results for Missouri, Huckabee up. Georgia results also Huckabee up.
_____________________
8:17 - McCain wins NJ, IL, and CT. Romney takes Massachusetts, but not by much.
On the Dem side, Obama wins GA, IL (not a shock) and is rumored to sweep the south, Clinton wins Oklahoma.

Liberally Conservative has more on WV.
WMD has a roundup on the states in play tonight.

8:03 - Observation: Both parties appear to be voting for their least electable candidates. I know some will say that McCain, as a “moderate” will get the moderate vote, but not after the media pulls their support. Plus he will learn quickly what all those years of pandering to the media earns him: Squat.

7:56pm - Ok just got back from Dishwasher shopping. (Don’t ask, it’s a whole other post) and results are starting to come in. Speaking of, Bizzyblog has a cool scoreboard here.
So far looks like a good night for Obama and Huckabee (of all people).
Georgia has been colled for Obama and might be going for Huckabee as well. WV has already gone for Huckabee. Which means if Romney doesn’t get California, he’s in even deeper doo-doo than he was already, (and that was a lot).
[...] Missouri’s counting, Obama must have been taking 90%-plus of the vote. The answer, as NixGuy pointed out last night, was that St. Louis County votes came in [...]
