Every Parent’s Nightmare
You are appointed to the Supreme Court, the dream of a lifetime. You are there with the President of The United States, with your family, all dressed up. And your son picks this moment to show his dancin’ moves.
A lot of people think this was funny but as a father myself my first thought was horror because I can see this happening all to clearly. Apparently Bush thought it was funny. Probably thinking I am so glad my children are not this age. I feel for the parents.
This isn’t the first time either. I was reading the transcript from his earlier confirmation hearings and I came across this:
Mr. ROBERTS. The Committee has already heard some unscheduled
testimony from my children, Josephine and Jack—
Yeah I’m sure a lot of parents will be identifying with Mr. Roberts.
