QUERÉTARO, QUERÉTARO (FEB/05/2012)-the President Felipe Calderón spoke out Sunday because federal elections in this year, to renew the Congress and the Presidency of the Republic, is respected in the vote, but so are necessary political campaigns free and fair arising in an electoral process in peace.

Holders of three federal powers here led the ceremony of the 95 anniversary of the Constitution.

“Democratic stability that ideally we Mexicans integrate the new powers through the vote free and respected”, said Calderon.

“A respected and free vote should be fruit of deliberation citizen that can only come from campaigns also free and fair,” he added.

“Do it with responsibility, do so in peace and with full adherence to the law without giving up to our duty to comply with and enforce the Constitution and the laws deriving from it with all its consequences,” he said.

“Because that is the best guarantee of our democratic coexistence”, asserted.

President Felipe Calderón; the Minister Juan Silva Meza, and the Presidents of the Chamber of Deputies, Guadalupe Acosta, and of the Senate, Jose Gonzalez Morfin, accompanied by Governors and the federal cabinet were present at the theater of the Republic.

Calderón also launched a new call that was not put aside the adoption of reforms the country needs.

The representative cited reforms in national security, labour, police single command, against money laundering and the policy to give more power to the citizen.

Times are limited, warned Calderon, and society does not want nor can expect laws to protect it, particularly in complex times.

“The challenges of the country can be indefinite, but times Governments and legislatures are limited.” “Why Mexicans can hardly have why wait more equipped with laws and institutions to protect them from such challenges, in particular in times that are complicated for everyone”, urged Calderon.
