Poblano pop trio launches the conquest of Latin America with the momentum of MTV

Mexico City (FEB/08/2012)-emulating the style vintage in their image and britpop in its sound, the trio of young Puebla, Fasten, decided to give shape and name to his musical project with the release of his first plate, maps, an EP which marks its launch to the scene from pop-rock to the conquest of the international.

But Jorge Ferro (vocals and guitar), Omar Hernandez (synthesizer) and Jair Carpinteiro (drums) do not start from scratch. Three years of the formation of his band have already achieved that three of their songs sound as officers of the series Popland, the chain MTV Latin America music, which gave them the chance to name do echo to the Southern Cone.

In La Salva, the single whose music video uses Visual effects and a decent production, the Puebla avail themselves of the use of the splanglish, i.e., begin the letter in Spanish with chorus in English and then give more space to the Anglo-Saxon language. “It is a tool that we will be using later to take the vibe that each language has different characteristics and play with that”.

And in the field of the plans, the vocalist of diverse influences as Belanova, Radiohead and Australian electronic music, is in talks to make a collaboration between his band and Odín Parada, the creative of the guadalajaran Sussie 4.
