President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, without giving more details, says that the country will never renounce uranium enrichment
Tehran, Iran (12/FEB/2012)-on the day of the thirty-third anniversary of the Islamic revolution, the President of Iran, Mahmound Ahmadinejad, announced that the country will be released in the near future its nuclear “great achievements”.
Ahmadinejad did not provide more details on the next announcement, but insisted that Iran never give up enriching uranium, process by which materials for nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons are produced.
West suspected that Iran nuclear programme is aimed at the production of atomic weapons, assertion that rejects Tehran.
In recent weeks, United States and the European Union have stepped up their Iran sanctions, in particular oil and financial, and pressured other countries to support, which has had a noticeable reflection in supplies and in general in the Iranian economy.
The announcement of the representative was part of the speech that expressed before a crowd gathered on the occasion of the anniversary of the revolution, in which the monarchy was overthrown Western pro of the country and through which Islamic clerics took power.
Iran said he was forced to manufacture the cathodes of nuclear fuel on their own, they feed the reactors since that international sanctions prevent them from buying them in overseas markets. In January, Iran claimed that he produced the first.
Apart from progress in cathode, the announcement could refer to the underground installation of Fordo uranium enrichment or improvement of the centrifugal, believed will be located at the facility in the city of Natanz. Iran also said that it will inaugurate the nuclear power plant of Russian construction in the southern port of Bushehr in 2012.
Iranian nuclear program development interrupted negotiations a year ago, but officials of the pa´si proposed last month the return to talks with the five permanent members of the Security Council of the UN, as well as Germany.
“Iran is ready to talk within a framework of equality and justice,” he reiterated Ahmadinejad, but he warned that Tehran “will ever enter into talks if the enemies behave in an arrogant manner”.
The President demanded to United States and the Western countries cease in its interference in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf and stop supporting Israel.
In Tehran, the mobilization began morning in Plaza Azadi (freedom), usual place of concentration in the Iranian capital, which was decorated with flowers and where demonstrators carried flags and banners with Islamic slogans and also against the traditional enemies of the regime, United States and Israel.
In the capital, hundreds of thousands of demonstrators marched with a replica plane life-size unmanned spy RQ170 Sentinel, the latest of which has United States, that last December the Iranian military captured and secured having to descend while it was northeast of its territory.
