A tremor of 6.9 degrees Richter feels in the southern region of China

MANILA, Philippines (06/FEB/2012)-Philippine authorities reported that the earthquake of 6.9 degrees recorded today southern Visayas region has left seven dead, and they pointed out that it was without effect the alert of tsunami had been issued.  

Benito Ramos, director of the Philippine National Disaster Council reported to the television station GMA that had confirmed the death of seven people, including two minors because of the collapse of fences of a chapel and a school.  

The tsunami alert was cancelled after the two statutory hours of observation, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and seismology in turn in a Twitter message to 15: 00 hours (07: 00 GMT).  

The Office of the spokesman for the Philippine Presidency reported that after being evaluated, roads and bridges in the affected region were able to be busiest.
