The Itei proposed punishment for former Director of public health

GUADALAJARA, JALISCO (FEB/08/2012)-in the framework of the fourth ordinary session of the Institute of transparency and public information of the State of Jalisco (Itei), were reviewed in specific three relevant points, among which highlighted the proposal of reprimand and a fine of 50 days of minimum wage to the Ministry of health Jalisco (SSJ) and the Jalisco Institute of Social assistance (IJAS). The first record, which obligated subject is the SSJ, has as of 2008, and the reprimand and fine goes against who then was as Director of public health in this instance, Dr. Elizabeth Ulloa Robles.

The information that was ordered to surrender were the results of the last sampling taken from urine and hair to the settlers of Juanacatlán and El Salto, analysis that took place after the death of the child Miguel Ángel López Rocha, fall to the Santiago River in the lily Cologne. This petition was declared unfulfilled on November 24, 2008. It will now be the obligated subject to decide on such reprimand and a fine.

The second instance which proposed a public reprimand and a fine for a day’s minimum wage, is the Jalisco Institute of Social assistance (IJAS). This is due to a case of 2009, which was breached article 89 of the State law of transparency, i.e., that the IJAS not referred to the Institute in a working day the refusal to deliver requested information. What is asked at the IJAS via information request was give an account of appointment contracts.  

Complaint to the Zapopan Comude

A citizen requested the Municipal Sports Council (Comude) of Zapopan information concerning the budget, expenditure by various concepts and what type of contracts you have telephony, among others; However, not granted, so the Itei proceeded with a criminal complaint to the municipal court. The penalty shall be for whoever is responsible for denying information.
